Pahalgam Attack Echoes Hamas Brutality

The time and place might be different, but the recent Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu & Kashmir and the 2023 Hamas attack on Israeli civilians reflect the same brutality with which the attacks took place.

In 2023, Hamas terrorists launched a sudden and ruthless attack on innocent Israeli people who were simply enjoying their weekend break. Many were killed and hundreds of lives were lost in the blink of an eye . The people who were enjoying hardly had an idea that a horrific ambush was going happen.

In a similar manner, the recent attack in Pahalgam targeted unarmed and unsuspecting Hindu tourists and it resulted in the tragic loss of may innocent lives. This incident not only brings extreme pain to Indians and people across the globe, but also exposes the same terrorist mindset which is instilling fear by deliberately targeting civilians.

In response to the attack on its citizens, the Israeli government launched a strong and decisive military action which was aimed at destroying the very roots of terrorism.

In the days that followed, airstrikes were carried out on several suspected terrorist hideouts. The Israeli army said it was targeting places used to plan and launch attacks. Many buildings were damaged, and people living nearby had to leave their homes. The Israel government said that the action was necessary to protect its citizens and stop future threats.
